~ Review ~
So bittersweet to see this series end but Pepper wraps this series leaving you feeling complete and at ease for the first time since starting the series.
This book picked up right where we were left throwing out kindles with our mouth ms hanging open. The anticipation of how this confrontation between Elder and Q was done so well. Two of my favorite men battle each other in more than a physical level and their underlying understanding of one another forms a bond like no other.
I could feel the determination and rage that was flowing through Elder. He was remorseful for bringing trouble to Q’s door but relentless in his journey to not only protect Pim but to right all of his wrongs.
I won’t lie this book took me through the whole run of emotions. I felt like I was right there in the middle of it all. It truly was amazing to see Elder and Pim overcome so much to build a life that finally took them from the darkness into the light. Pim and Elder have truly left an imprint on my heart. Revisiting with some of my other favorite characters was just an added bonus.
If you haven’t started the Dollars series you are truly missing out on some amazing characters and another series from the brilliant mind of Pepper Winters.
