~ Review ~ 

I was so excited to dive back into the Orchid Valley Series and Lexi did not disappoint! I absolutely loved Oliver and Savannah. 

They were an item years ago …. a means to an end that transformed into feelings…. Feelings that years later are still palpable. 

Alex and Savannah met in Vegas but her past with Oliver forced her to move on without pursuing a relationship with Alex. When they cross paths again, Savannah and Alex make a deal to spend time together as a favor for each of them.  Another means to an end but add Oliver back into the mix and its like striking a match near gasoline. 

Love triangles….. never been a fan but that’s usually because my guy doesn’t win.  I loved that the story alternated between past and present to give us all of the backstory between Oliver and Savannah.   Their story was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Lexi adds in an unexpected twist and left me with a smile on my face. 

This may be my favorite book in this series. This book is part of an interconnected series but can be read as a standalone.  I would definitely recommend reading them all though.
