Review

Absolutely loved this book.  Chase and Julia’s story was so real that could feel the emotion with the pages. A true friends to lovers story /sports romance that will have you turning the pages to see how everything pans out.

I loved both Julia and Chase equally.  She has pretty much been adopted by the Grant family after her sister married Chase’s brother.  Always drawn to one another In family settings or vacations seeking the comfort of each other’s company.  Although this time around seeing Julia in a distressed state triggers the protective side of Chase which stirs up lots of emotions and what ifs.

Their story unfolded naturally and at a slow pace.  I think because of this I was truly invested in Chase and Julia.  I wanted to know what happened next, could he be what she needed and would she allow herself to lean on Chase.

The story takes some twists and turns which keep you engaged.  Will they overcome Julia’s struggles and come out the other side together?

The supporting characters in this story are equally engaging and definitely add to the family dynamic.   As this is just the first book in this new series I will be looking for more of this family and possibly catching up with Julia and Chase
