I absolutely adored this story! Cash and Hannah were high school best friends turned lovers but life after high school had them going separate ways. Cash to the major leagues and Hannah in her small town with an unexpected pregnancy.
You could tell that Hannah was content with her life in a small town teaching at her old school and raising her son. But when Cash returns to town for an alumni baseball game it is game on!
Cash and Hannah have unsolved feelings and the discovery of Cash's son adds another layer to the mix. I love how Cash embraced his feelings for Hannah and tried to get to know his son without placing blame or judgment.
I understood Hannah's reservations about getting involved with Cash. There was more at stake this time around than just her heart. She had their son to think about.
Let's just say that when they decided to give into their feelings Hannah and Cash lit the pages up. I enjoyed their reconnecting, playful and devotion to one another and their family.
