Book 2 in the Highlands Series and I couldn't be happier. I loved North and Aria!

These two definitely worked for their happiness. Both of them hiding at Ardnoch, one to escape an accusation that is hanging over his head and one hiding from life in general and a history of bad relationships.

I loved watching their relationship evolve. They slowly broke the walls that Aria erected which allowed a friendship to blossom. But their attraction and an earned level of comfort allows them to take their relationship even further.

Let's not forget all of our favorite characters from Book one in the series and the Adair Family series. Samantha Young's writing is inviting and always makes you feel like you are right there with the characters.
