This is the second book in the Fight for Me Series and although I loved Rex and Rynna's story this book tugged at my heartstrings on a more personal level.   I am honestly not sure who stole more of my heart Evan or Kale.

We met Kale in Show Me the Way but peeling back the layers of this doctor was definitely a task I was up for.  It was easy to fall for Kale with his devotion to his job, his love of his friends and let's not forget his smoldering smirk and sexy body.

Kale is everything that Hope isn't looking for but their chemistry is just too much to resist.
Hope is trying to navigate some very rough waters and her son is her first priority...always. But when fate puts Kale and Hope on the same path things start to 
become a bit more complicated.

Evan just about stole my heart from his first doctor visit.  His struggles very real and
scary for any parent to navigate. The bond between Hope and Evan was so touching that it brought me to tears.   

Hope and Kale are both complicated and guarded.  Although their attraction is instantaneous they try to push the feelings down, both knowing that one touch will ignite a fire that they will not be able to contain.  Can they be what the other has been missing? 

What is no surprise here is the depths of emotion that  A.L. Jackson has weaved between the pages of this book.   Their story is told in such a fluid manner that the time will fly by while you take their journey.  Like I stated earlier, Evan touched my heart in a personal way.  I appreciated the detail and thought that A.L. Jackson gave to his characters situation.  

If you are up for an emotional read full of love, determination and a super sexy couple, do yourself a favor and go #1 click this amazing read.
I am pretty sure you won't be sorry.
