~ Review ~

Not going to lie, Christina Lauren is a new author for me, (gasp) but if this book is any indication of what all of their other books are like I have quite a bit of catching up to do.

I am not sure who I enjoyed more Hazel and her quirky personality or Josh for the way that he just seemed to get her. In Hazel’s eyes Josh has always been out of her league but after reconnecting after college they seem to find that their differences make them better together.

I absolutely loved the fact that Hazel just didn’t really have a filter, even though a few times I think she may have wanted to keep a few things to herself. I could feel Josh’s conflict after the “Tabby” incident but his willingness to explore his feelings for Hazel and wait for her to catch up (ha…she was a little bit ahead of him there) was even more endearing.

What can I say about Christina Lauren's writing……effortless. Well at least that is the way that it appeared. The chapters flowed seamlessly into one another and kept me vested in the story throughout. Engaging characters will definitely do that. Let’s just say that I highly recommend this book to someone who has never had that opportunity to read these ladies and will be checking out their past works as well.

~ Review ~

I cannot say enough about this book. Yet another captivating read from Raine Miller which will have you so caught up in James and Winter that the pages will fly by. I am an absolute fan of anything Blackstone (Ethan is still my favorite). This story will have you all wound up while James and Winter play cat and mouse. The angst, anticipation and the fall are soooooo worth it.

She was supposed to be off limits.....you just don't go after your best friends sister but it seemed that the more James tried to deny himself of Winter the more bold he became with is double sided innuendos. For Winter it was both confusing and exhilarating at the same time. The man she has loved for secret all these years finally giving her his undivided attention. Their flirtation definitely heated up my kindle and I couldn't wait to see if they would give in to temptation.

I could go on and on about this book but then you would miss out on experiencing an amazing read for yourself. This is the 2nd book in the Blackstone Dynasty and could be read as a standalone but then you would be missing out on Caleb and Brooke's story.

Review

I can honestly say that Penelope Ward blew me away with her writing in this book. It was sexy as sin without all the sex. Who knew that one phone call made at the wrong time could be soooo right for two people.

I LOVED Rana and Landon's story. Not a second chance romance in the classic sense but what a romance. This book will make you laugh, smile and wait with anticipation right along with the characters. There "relationship" doesn't taking the normal courting route which is probably why I loved this book like no other. This book is by far (IMO) one of Penelope Ward's best works and now one of my top 3 favorites from her.

Landon and Rana not only have years that have spanned between them but life events and miles. Both holding back truths about themselves until they are sure they are going to take this to the next level. Landon's understanding of Rana's hesitance and his willingness to go slow is partly what endeared me to him. Their dating not the norm but inventive and thoughtful. When life takes a quick turn, Rana has no time to over analyze the situation and actually makes the first move.

RUN don't walk and go #1click this book! You won't be sorry!
