~ Synopsis ~
When the sun disappeared, the world was cast in shadows, hiding the evil that lay in wait. When it was dark, I hunted. The shadows caressed my body as I did things I could never do in the light of day.
Eighteen-year-old Bree Bowen has spent her entire life training and working as one of her father’s assassins. Fear has kept her and her best friend, Wes, under her father’s thumb—until now.
When Wes takes matters into his own hands, securing Bree a new identity and a plane ticket to America, he gives her the one chance she’s been desperately seeking.
Learning to live a new life isn’t easy. Add in her new roommate, Reid, who just happens to be a stripper, and things start to get a little crazy. Falling for a man has never been part of her plan, but she can’t seem to stay away from Reid.
When Bree’s past comes crashing back into her life, secrets that she’s fought to keep hidden are revealed, and she’s forced to choose between Reid and the life she could have with him, or Wes, the one man who has always loved her unconditionally.
Regardless of her choice, she must learn the consequences of sin.
This book will be a standalone!

~ Review ~
A book about assassins……nah….A book about assassins
written by K.A. Robinson…..HELL YEAH!!!
This was a “different” type of read from Kelly and I am soooo glad that
I had the opportunity to read this book before release!
I LOVED it!
I LOVED it!
This story had it all, angst, suspense, unrequited love,
friendship and twisted family values and second chances. I loved the depth of the relationship
between Wesley and Bree and that fact that in spite of his true self he put her
wants and needs first.
Starting over is hard enough, starting over while trying
to keep yourself hidden from your past and everything you’ve fled beyond
difficult. As luck would have it Bree
finds herself a roommate with very little trouble. Where’s the luck….um he’s a male
stripper. While close to Wesley, Bree doesn’t
think of him as more than a protective brother therefore seeing nothing with
pursuing a relationship with Reid, her new roommate.
As Bree begins to get comfortable with her new life and the relationship she is forging with Reid, she still tries to keep herself in top form. She knows her father will not rest until she’s found and she knows that only one of them will be leaving that reunion alive.
As Bree begins to get comfortable with her new life and the relationship she is forging with Reid, she still tries to keep herself in top form. She knows her father will not rest until she’s found and she knows that only one of them will be leaving that reunion alive.
When her worst nightmare becomes a reality, Reid is
trapped there along side her. Will she
be able to survive her father’s wrath?
Will Reid be another death on her conscience? Will Wesley prove to be her enemy or ally?
Go grab your copy of The Consequences of Sin and find out
for yourself!!
