This is the final installment in the Intern Series from Brooke Cumberland. This Volume covers a longer time span allowing the characters to grow and find their way as well as have all of the lingering questions answered.
I loved the chemistry between Ceci and Bentley. He could melt her with just one look and she was unable to resist. Although she tries, her heart yearns for the "forbidden" and "unknown" she gets with Bentley. The boy next door will not compare after taking a walk on the wild side.
We also get a deeper look at Bentley and what makes him tick. Working for his father not apparently where he wants to be he reverts back to modeling. But is it what he wants or just a way to numb the absence of Ceci. Try as he might, he needs her and he is willing to take that risk that could destroy him further.
Will Ceci and Bentley find their way back together? Can their love for one another out weigh the hurt and deceit? What happened to Ceci's father? Will the infamous lock box give her the closure she seeks?
