So, to start I would like to say that this story may not be "new" to you if have read Melody's release With Every Heartbeat last year . The story has been transformed into a serial with some updates. I enjoyed Annalise and Raphael's story and was looking forward to seeing what changes Melody had made to the story.
Annalise has traveled abroad with her ballet company in hopes of securing a position as a prima ballerina, following in the footsteps of her mother. But while exploring Rome Annalise finds more than she bargains for in a street dancer named Raphael. Sparks fly and Annalise finds herself being consumed with more than just dance.
Being that is is now a "serial" it was a very quick read. For me there were few differences in the story line. I did notice that we got to see a bit more from Raphael's POV and that was definitely not a bad thing.
If you are new to this story you are in for a treat. Melody creates amazing characters that take you along for the ride. Along the way there of course will be obstacles to overcome but you will get some steamy scenes and a great love story too.
I am looking forward to continuing the new journey of Raphael and Annalise in Second Position releasing November 12th.
