~ Review ~

This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.  It was a quick enjoyable read for me since I had not read any of this authors work before.  Tyler seemed to carry a world of regret with him and Ella was one of them.  Given the opportunity to ride to her rescue and right his wrongs was very important to him.

I liked Ella a lot. Who hasn’t fallen for one of their sibling’s friend? But to have it and then have it gone in a fleeting moment can be devastating.  The torch Ella carried for Tyler may have been muted but the fire still burned underneath.

What better place for a reunion than a tropical island? But they the author doesn’t allow for steamy sex and seduction to fix all that is wrong.  Don’t get me wrong we do get the intense chemistry between Tyler and Ella but they don’t just fall into be to solve their problems. 

Overall this is would be considered a second chance romance.  Having not read the series from the beginning I did feel that I was missing out on some of the back story and updates on other characters.  I did enjoy the book though from start to finish and would definitely pick up another book by this author in the future.
