~ Synopsis ~
For Mackenzie Cox, racing motorcycles is in her blood. Born
into a family legacy, she's determined to show the world that she has inherited
her father's talent in this male-dominated sport. The last thing Kenzie needs
is to be antagonised by her rival team's newest rider, Hayden Hayes. Hayden,
exceedingly arrogant and outrageously attractive, immediately gets under
Kenzie's skin and she can't help but be distracted. As Kenzie and Hayden push each other on the track, the electric energy between them off the track shifts into an intense - and strictly forbidden - attraction. The only rule between their two ultra-competitive teams is zero contact. Kenzie needs a win, and she also needs to stay away from Hayden. Unfortunately for her though, one thing has become all too clear: she can't.
Fuelled by passion, driven by desire, Hayden and Mackenzie both want to win more than anything else. Except for, maybe, each other. But anger, jealousy and extreme competitiveness aren't their only obstacles ….

A new book from S.C. Stephens was a must read for me. I have enjoyed her previous works, I mean who doesn’t
know and love Kellan. That being said Hayden had a lot to live up to for me.
Hayden and Kenzie
were to very competitive, determined and explosive characters. Their intensity on and off the track aas off
the charts. The no fraternizing rule definitely
being bent and broken to accommodate their feelings. I wasn’t sure how Kenzie was able to resist
Hayden as he had me swooning almost immediately. It took me a little while to warm up to Kenzie as her tough exterior sometimes made her seem a bit arrogant and mean.
Kenzie and Hayden each have their own reasons to prove themselves. Kenzie trying to make her way in a male dominated sport and Hayden coming fro the street to take his racing professional. Rivals on the track but can they find a way to make it off
the track. The story was a slow start
for me but once it picked up it was full throttle. Mystery, intrigue and a super steamy couple
are enough reasons to #1click this book.
