Review
This was my first read from this author and I can tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Looking forward to what she has next in this series.
Hugh and Lila were wonderful characters. The level of temptation mounted page by page until we watched these two combust.
Temporary……it was only meant to last a few weeks but letting go would prove to be harder than either of them thought.
They were perfect for one another. They brought balance to one anothers lives. Hugh was Lila’s rock while helping her father battle his demons. Their childhood friendship transforming into their happily ever after.
The supporting characters (family & friends) were as entertaining as they come. The group texts, sibling banter, friends ribbing friends defiantly provides some levity to the story.
Small town romance and brother’s best friend……two of my favorite tropes all wrapped up between the pages.
