This book is part of an interconnected series but can be read as a standalone.

This book focuses on Mick and Sienna. A young love that was left behind 23 years ago when Mick headed to the West Coast to pursue his music career.

Sienna was younger and he believed her future was brighter without him dragging her down.

But you never really forget your first love and each of them never did. When a chance encounter gives them a chamce to reconnect they take it.

They are simultaneously feeling like they are missing out on life by being consumed by their professions. Two weeks….a break to reconnect and see if they are better together or separate.

There were some parts of the story that were slow for me but overall I enjoyed the read. I liked taking the journey wirh Mick and Sienna as explored their feelings for one another. Sienna appears a bit overwhelmed by Micks lifestyle and his ability to spoil her at times leaving her doubting a place for her in his life.

A second chance romance that will have you pulling for these characters to find their HEA.
