Review

We return to Cottonwood Cove again for Brinkley’s story and what a story it was! I love a good small town enemies to lovers read.

If you have been keeping up with the series you know Brinks is home licking her wounds from being fired and trying find a story to mount a comeback. The name Lincoln Hendrix is banned from use in her presence.

Lincoln Hendrix is between seasons and trying to sort put his next move. Which team will he agree to pay for is weighing on him so where better to sort your mind and fly under the radar than Cottonwood Cove.

This is where life gets interesting. Brinks and Lincoln were everything. (Sorry Maddox) I absolutely adored these two. They definitely have chemistry underneath all of their “dislike” for one another. But after Lincoln hires her to tell his story they begin to break down walls and discover that they aren’t as different as they think.

This series gets better with each book. The writing is inviting and draws you into the story almost like you are right there with the characters. This makes for an enjoyable read that has you turning the pages late into the night.

If you have not yet started this series I recommend that you do. Each book can be read on its own but you will get a true understanding of the Reynolds family and characters if you read the series in order.

Review

I absolutely love this series. Now crossover Natasha’s hockey family and I am beyond thrilled.

The last thing you want to do is run into your ex but when your supposed to plan his wedding things can go sideways fast. Ugh Helena……what was Matthew thinking?

Matthew and Sofia have history and I could not wait to see if these two would come to blows or kiss and make up.

Matthew finally realizes the he has his work cut out for him if he has a chance of smoothing things over with Sofia. Winning back her affection is his goal but I was happy to see her make him work for it.

Let us not forget the families that always provide additional layers to the story. Uncle Matthew is just one of my favorites who lends to the story.

Natasha delivers a second chance romance full of banter and all the feels. Being that this is an interconnected series you may have a better understanding of all the characters but this can be read as a standalone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…

Review

I love discovering a new author. L. Steele’s covers have been catching my eye as of late so when the opportunity to read this book presented itself I was all in.

This book covers more than one trope but does it well. Penny and Knight were definitely characters that grew throughout the story. Knight was definitely a bit complex. He took grumpy to different levels at sometimes but as the story unfolds you get more insight into his life experiences that have molded him.

Penny was awkward at times but I think it was partially to due to her attraction to Knight. They definitely had chemistry but her sunny disposition seemed to irritate Knight even more. But you can only resist for so long.

I was invested in seeing how their story would end. They definitely had to work for their HEA but it was worth the ride.

I will definitely be adding L. Steele’s books into my library.
