Review:

I was looking forward to this new rom-com suspense from Emma as I was a huge fan of her Holly Woods Series. 

Charlotte aka Lottie inherits her grandfather’s bed and breakfast and returns to Fox Point wirh her parents to settle his estate.  Coming home is usually a good thing but when your first love is still there and you get arrested by him it kind of sours the mood. 

Noah gets reacquainted with Lottie upon questioning her about a body found at the bed and breakfast. She tries to hide her feelings with sass and him with avoidance. 

I loved how Ash & Gwen were Lottie’s partners in crime. Their sleuthing skills in need so some help lending to the lighter side of things in the story. 

No better way to get to the bottom of a murder investigation than to insert yourself into the middle of it all. When things go wrong Noah is there to save the day. 

I enjoyed the banter between Noah and Lottie.  His girlfriend’s behavior successfully causing the demise of their relationship and opening the door and his heart again to Lottie. 

Sometimes true love cannot be severed even with time and space. I am looking forward to more of Lottie and Noah and what we will get next book in the series.
