The conclusion of the Luna Duet picks up right where we were left teetering on the edge. Chaos ensues and all I could think about was where will Aslan go? Will he be ok? Is this the beginning of their end?

As the Taylor’s and Aslan begin to heal from the unfortunate events of Christmas they begin to look forward to the future. A guarded future, but a future embraced by Jack and Anna as well.

Pepper weaves an intricate tale in the retelling of Nerida and Aslan’s life. There were moments of silent anticipation as I waited for what ups and downs of their life we we’re going to experience.

The story picked up for me at about 50% in. Some of the early chapters at times felt drawn out. Unlike other stories from Pepper I was able to predict some of what I was about to read. There was fear, joy, loss, combined with grief and the semblance of a new life.

There isn’t much more I can say about this story without giving away parts of the story that are meant to be experienced. If you have made it through Lunamare you should definitely see how their story turns out.
