Review

Headed back to Sweetbriar Ridge to catch up with The Donovans. This book focuses on Reid and Ashlynn.

High school drama is the driving wedge for these two. Reid left to pursue his dream of being a firefighter but when the opportunity presents itself for him to return to Sweetbriar Ridge he jumps at it.

Ashlynn has had some back luck. But having to face her nemesis and overcome some embarrassment to clear her name of arson may just be the breaking point.

These two fell fast. Reid determined to not let Ashlynn get away again. Instalove is not my favorite element of a story. These two forge a relationship amongst a lot of drama but they do have some chemistry and humor to help even it out.

Overall this was an enjoyable quick small town read. Not my favorite in the series so far but with more to come I will wait for the next installment.
