I am such a "cover girl" and because of the gorgeous cover on this book I just found myself a new author to get lost in.
I loved the flow of this book and the backstory to the characters that created the perfect second chance romance.
Gillian at first chooses distance from Ben but having him in the same small town again tends to wear how down quickly. She decides to live in the present and enjoy what time they have together.
If Ben had his way they would have picked up where they left off but he was respectful of her feelings and those of her son.
I could understand Clayton's need to protect his mother and his animosity towards Ben. But there moments when Clayton lets Ben in.
They have pursued their dreams separately and now need to see of they can build a life together.
If you are looking for an enjoyable second chance romance with wonderful characters give this book a try. I will be looking forward to the next installment in this series.
