Review
While I am sad that this is the last book in the Whitlock family series I do believe that Corinne saved the perfect story to say goodbye.
I absolutely loved Brynlee and Crew's story. Although this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting the series from the beginning.
This will ensure that you have a full understanding of all of the characters and how they are intertwined.
A true second chance at happiness that starts with an unlikely agreement with benefits for both parties. Although I do believe Crew had the advantage from the start.
Brynn was determined to protect her heart from Crew however that's hard to do when your heart beats for that person. Their interactions were heatfelt with a chemistry you couldn't deny.
I appreciated Crew's understanding of Brynn's past and his unwavering commitment to protecting her and making her happy at any cost.
I loved how they were honest about their past and their mistakes. There was definite instant attraction however, their story unfolded at the perfect pace to bring these two to their very well-deserved HEA.
Let us not forget the most adorable little girl Layla. She definitely added a level of warmth and provided several awww moments.
