Cassy is a fitness goddess by day and romance author by night. When she isn't writing furiously on her next novel, she's making books look beautiful inside and out as a graphic designer or capturing beautiful images with her camera. She has an unhealthy obsession with peanut butter, pedicures, and all things Les Mills group fitness. She has on occasion been seen purchasing clothes that aren’t athletic apparel (although rare).

This is my first read from Cassy Roop and to be honest the title to this book and the synopsis  are what really pulled me in.  VOID was exactly what I was hoping it would be. 

What is a person to do if they truly cannot feel or react to emotion?  Find the one that that does and stick with it.  And so Jericho Lane is born.  I absolutely loved Nicola/Jericho.  Her lack of filter was just a breath of fresh air. 

When Nicola is needed as a quick replacement for a client, little does she know her life is about to change.   Although she is thought to be void of emotion Jericho has a reaction to her client, Link and his associate, Sinclaire.  They somehow had the ability to break through the walls that she had be kept behind for her entire life.  

Link.....He had my attention from the first encounter.  I knew that there had to be more to him but wasn't sure just what it was.   As the story unfolds we watch Nicola/Jericho emerge from her unfeeling existence and battle her emotions.  Can she really be experiencing love after all of these years?  Can she trust in what she feels?  Are things really as they appear?

Now, I can't answer those questions without giving away the whole story.  It has several twists and turns.   Some I can tell you I saw coming and others I did not.  The story was engaging and is definitely a read worth picking up.
