Ahhh, a new series from AL Jackson and I was excited to move on to Time River.  

Caleb Grayson relocated to Time River as sort of an escape to protect his “daughter”, Evelyn. Time River gives him the opportunity to have a little bit of both worlds, Corporate business owner and ranch owner. 

Paisley Dae has returned to her hometown to reclaim her dreams and mend her broken heart. Working for Caleb gives her an opportunity to do both. 

Although they got off to a rough start, Paisley finds a way to begin to break down some of his barriers and finds herself falling for the dark, brooding, stubborn man.  

Paisley is a distraction that Caleb cannot afford but he can’t seem to help himself.

Throughout the story there is an underlying layer of suspense and intrigue.  Caleb and Paisley give the story spark and sizzle.  But Evelyn aka Evie-Love is definitely a scene stealer that will melt your heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and these characters. I am looking forward to seeing what stories she develops for Ryker and Ezra.

Ah Jamie…….the ever flirtatious, single Donovan.  I loved that he met his match in Fallon.  For me this was small town romance, single dad, enemies to lovers in all the right ways. 

Fallon and Jamie have history……of annoying each other.  But when life puts these two in their hometown again it’s as if the universe is talking to them.  Neither one of them would have thought they they would be each others saving grace. 

All the Donovan family fun in this book as well, minus his parents but we get a little more of Uncle Ronan.  Another wonderful book in this series of standalone couples.

What a sweet read!  I absolutely loved Maddox & Georgia.  I mean what’s not to love, a broody and sexy boss with a heart that needed the right woman to thaw. 

Cue Georgia….. aka Tink.  I loved her nickname that Maddox gave her.  She was boyh seet and sassy and gave the “Bossman” something to think about.  Georgia was truly a breath of fresh air. I mean she had a fee issues she was trying to work out but found her safe haven in Maddox’s arms. 

It was fun catching up with everyone in Cottonwood Cove.  I am thinking that we may also see a bit more of Maddox’s brother soon too. 

This office romance with family issues and more was the perfect read to lose yourself in. Laura Pavlov is quickly becoming a favorite author. Grab your copy and see for yourself.
