Review

I was looking forward to Cove’s story after meeting her in Tempting Enemy.

I enjoyed the premise of the story…..falling for your sister’s best friend.

Jace and Cove have known each other for years and she’s had a crush on him equally as long. But those feelings lie dormant until Cove finds herself in need of protection.

These two definitely had chemistry but close quarters had them pushing their limits both physically and emotionally.

Jace’s life has been full sights he can’t unsee and loss from his time in the military and in his choices afterwards.

The story was engaging and contained several twists and turns. We get some suspense, spice and a HEA.

For me the only negative was the age difference between Jace and Cove. It didn’t seem plausible that they would be compatible. That being said, it’s fiction and didn’t prevent me from devouring this book.
