Review
Awaken
is the final installment in the Spiral of Bliss series and I can honestly tell
you I am sad to see it end. This trilogy
wasn’t your young couple romance of finding love, this was an established
couple that had their love and devotion to one another tested on many different
levels.
The
story line picks up where Allure leaves off with Dean and Liv not only separated
by thousands of miles but emotionally torn asunder. What I love most about these two is that
there are no lengths that either would not go to make the other one happy and
shield them from hurt.
I
was happy to see that Liv asserted herself more. Taking on new venture and finding
something of her own that she could be proud of. She was willing to not only revisit her past
but face her past so that she and Dean could start the next chapter in their
lives with a clear heart.
You
could see that Dean had trouble accepting the fact the Liv wanted to deal with
things on her own. He had always been
her provider and protector. But as the
story progresses we see that she has found her inner strength and has the
ability to protect Dean as well.
Throughout
the story we still have to contend with the “Maggie” situation and when Liv’s
mom makes a sudden appearance, she just adds to the already turbulent times.
Liv
and Dean’s chemistry is never in doubt.
This couple sizzles between the sheets and out. You never doubt their devotion to one another
or the depth of their love.

However,
when all is said and done we get what I have always wanted for Liv and Dean….happiness! Their road may have been a bumpy one, with
many twists and turns, but they stayed their course and came through it together.

you have not read The Spiral of Bliss Series, I would highly recommend that you
do. This couple will stay with you long
after the words… The End.
