For Sage Mccarthy, life has not been
all sunshine and roses, and over the years she's developed some deep seeded

he is too good to be true. Despite the wall she's built, Connor quickly breaks
his way inside and shows her how to love again. When the past shows up, and
threatens to hurt the people she loves she has decisions to make. Will she
embrace her new found trust, and the man she loves? Or will she put her walls
back up to protect them both?
Connor is a broken man, slowly
working his way back from a bad relationship. He meets Sage and knows his life
will never be the same. When the unthinkable happens, he must act quickly;
doing everything he can to protect the woman he loves.

~ Review ~
This is the second installment in the
Atlanta Series and what a great addition it is.
This story focuses on Sage and Connor, Victoria and Leland’s best
friends. When we meet Sage in A
Workplace Affair, she abruptly appears on Victoria’s doorstep after her husband
leaving her. But we come to discover throughout
the story that Sage’s past is a little more complicated than just her husband
cheating.
Sage is finally enjoying some happiness
with the help of Leland and Victoria. You
can see that Sage has started to open herself up to the idea of Connor. I mean who wouldn’ t like a sexy, protective
man who knows his way around a kitchen.
Connor too has been scarred by a cheating
spouse and so when they two of them begin their relationship they are both
guarded. Trusting another person is not
a task to be taken lightly. Will Connor
and Sage be able to overcome their pasts and find a future with one another?
Guess you are going to have to go grab
this book to find out. The story is a quick and enjoyable read. Isabella throws a few twists and turns in to
keep you engaged. It is not required to
have read A Workplace Affair but it would help to familiarize you with the
other characters in the story.

~ About the Author ~
Isabella Rae has been writing for
over 10 years but never published because she was discouraged by the publishing
process. Recently a friend of hers released a book through self-publishing and
inspired Isabella to release her first book. When Isabella is not writing she
is busy being a single mom to 2 beautiful girls, and works as a baker, and
server at a local restaurant.
Isabella was born in Peachtree City, Georgia, a suburb south of Atlanta,
where she still resides. Her love of reading inspired her to move into writing.
She uses personal experiences with baking and life in general to inspire her
work. As a unique touch to each of the books in her first series, she has
chosen to include personal recipes to give it a personal touch.

~ Author Interview ~
~ What was your
inspiration for the Atlanta Affair series?
Isabella: Well, I live just south of Atlanta, so for
me, that was an obvious setting. Honestly my characters were the inspiration.
All three main friends (Victoria, Sage, and Nick) are all inspired by people in
my life. I created all the characters first and then let them create the
stories.
What is your writing inspiration?
Isabella: I guess you could say that my daughters are
the reason I write. I’m trying to make a better life for them. As far as for
the books themselves I use personalities I encounter as well as fantasies to
inspire me.
What words of wisdom would you give to those wanting
to get into writing or just starting out?
Isabella: Don’t be afraid to ask for help. The indie
author community is amazingly supportive. I still have so much to learn, but
they are all so willing to help. I’m proud to be included in such an amazing
group of people.
Who is your favorite author?
Isabella: That’s a three way tie between Janet
Evanovich, Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, and Iris Johansen
Do you plan to start a new book or series (anything outside of your current work)?
Isabella: Of course I plan to write more after my
Atlanta Affair Series, but right now I am focused on “A Wedding Affair” the
third book in my series, which will be Nick and Piper’s story. There will be a
total of five books in the series.
What would you die without?
Isabella: My daughters
What is your favorite city you like to visit?
Isabella: Out of the places I have been, probably New
York
What place do you dream to visit?
Isabella: Ireland, I traced my family back to County
Donegal Ireland and would love to go there.
What are you currently working on?
Isabella: “A Wedding Affair” and plans for an untitled
stand alone novel.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Isabella: In 10 years I hope to be writing still
without having to worry about working a day job. I know most indie authors
don’t get that luxury, but I can dream!
What is one thing that no one really knows about you?
Isabella: That I am still technically married. We’ve
been separated for 3 years, and still trying to get the divorce.
