This installment in the Intern Series picks up right where we left off in Volume 1. I couldn't wait to see what was going to become of Ceci when Bentley found her. Well lots of hot steamy sex wasn't what I was betting on but with Bentley why not.
In this installment we find that Ceci's mother may know more about her father's death than she let on. We get a look at another side of Bentley, the one that he can't seem to control when he's around Ceci but also a peek at how his last relationship caused more bad than good.
I love the cat and mouse game that Ceci and Bentley play with one another. Never knowing which one will come out with the upper-hand. But Bentley has lingering doubts after finding Ceci in his home office and after she up and leaves one evening and breaks all contact he is determined to learn more.
Will the web of deception that Ceci has built to gain information on her father's death begin to unravel? Will the fallout be worth the risk? Well thanks to the effective cliffhanger in this volume too we will have to wait and see. All I can say is MORE Bentley please and soon!
