“So, what are you going to do?”

“I need to talk to Ally first and tell her that you know. She’ll be angry

with me, but once she figures out that you’re not going to go out and do

something stupid, I think she’ll be okay. After that, I’m going to talk with

Emma. I said some really horrible shit to her tonight. I accused her of

sleeping with you since that’s what Ally told me.”

“Shit. Jesse, I need to talk to you about something.”

I was instantly on alert as I felt him tense beside me. “What?”

“I…okay, first off, it wasn’t something that either of us meant to do.”

“Andy, just tell me what the hell you’re talking about.”

He looked up at me, his eyes filled with remorse. “I slept with Emma.”

~ Review ~

This is Book 2 in the Ties Series and I really enjoyed getting to know Jesse and Emma in Shattered Ties. I have been waiting, not so patiently to see where K.A. Robinson was going to take the story in Twisted Ties. She had warned that Book 2 was not going to be all hearts and flowers…it was going to be dark……well can you say Fatal Attraction!!! Not surprised that I couldn’t put this down. Devoured every single page!

It’s been 2 years since Jesse up and left Emma in California to start his life over in West Virginia. But when a truth is finally revealed Emma and Andy take off for the East Coast too. Determined to make things right Emma heads off to collage hoping that Jesse will have enrolled there.

Now, we learn that during this 2 year separation that Andy and Emma have become close….but just how close have they become? Ally has been a no show since Emma caught her with Jesse and I wasn’t complaining.

But bad pennies have a way of always turning up and when Ally returns it’s with a vengeance. OMG! I knew that she had some anger issues but we learn that this is more deeply rooted. I don’t think disturbed even comes close.

As we start to see the web of secrets and lies unravel, we see friendships mend and hearts heal only to be ripped apart again by the actions of Ally.

Will Jesse and Emma find their happy ever after? Guess you are going to have to grab Twisted Ties to find out! Now, K.A. Robinson has stated that this is the last book in the series but she does leave you with a question that will be answered by every reader’s imagination. How will the story end for you?
