Grounded is the third installment in The Deception Series by Nicky Jayne and must be

 read in order.  In the Footprints, we fall in love with Riley and Tanner, in Taking Flight 

we get more of Parker and Nicky crashes my dreams of a happy ever after for Riley and

 her family.

I am a huge fan of Nicky's writing and have come to expect nothing less than several 

plot twists that will keep me on the edge of my seat page after page.  She fulfills my 

expectations and then some in Grounded.

Just when I think that Willow and Parker may have found a chance at happiness she is 

ripped from his grasp. A business deal gone wrong, family secrets unfolded, and the 

intricate web of deception beginning to unravel.

The story provides insight into past events and relationships.  We get answers to some 

questions and are left with some new ones.  What will the future hold for Willow and 

Parker?  Can Tanner find it was in his heart to forgive his best friend for his role in the 

unintentional pain that has been inflicted upon his family?

~ About the Author ~

Nicky Jayne, was born and raised in the UK. Shortly after meeting her soul mate,her biggest fan and number one supporter, they married and moved to Las Vegas with her two boys. Always having a passion for numbers she received her bachelors degree in business and finance, but after her long affair with numbers, she decided to take another path.

Not phased by the hurdles that she would more than likely face she began writing, instantly falling in love with her words. What was supposed to be one short story turned into a series. She releases Embracing Life in September 2013, followed shortly by Embracing Love in October 2013.

Today she has four books available, with a fifth in the works. Footprints, Taking Flight and Grounded.

In her spare time, when not chasing her children around with a vacuum cleaner, carpooling to sports, drooling over her military man (its the uniform) and overseeing a mass of sleepovers. She loves to read, with a cup of English tea in her hand and the Nevada sunset in front of her.
